Kindergarten and New Student Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens Monday, April 27, 2026! Here are some important details to ensure a smooth registration process:

-Your child must turn 5 on or before September 1, 2026.

-Our registration process is online. Ensure all documents are scanned/submitted for complete registration.

Required Documents:

*Birth Certificate

*Mississippi Immunization Form 121

*Government Issued Photo ID

*Legal Guardianship Documents (divorce decree, court-filed guardianship, etc.) if applicable

*Two Proofs of Residency in the Pascagoula-Gautier School District

Registration Steps:

1. Visit our website: pgsd.ms/registration

2. Click on the "New Student Registration" button.

3. Click on the “PGSD School Zone Locator” button and enter your address to identify your home school.

4. Call the school registrar to receive an ActiveCode for your child for online registration

5. Visit PGSD's ActiveParent Portal and login in or create an account using parent/guardian information.

6. Click top left box with plus sign for online registration.

7. Select: Have a code to enter? Click here.

8. Enter your child’s 12 digit ActiveCode.

9. Redeem Code. This code will tie your child to your account.

10. Find your child in the dropdown box and begin registration.

11. Start the registration process by following the directions as you navigate through the site. Complete all requested items.
