A large banner reads 'Thank You, Veterans!' with a patriotic design.

Gautier High School proudly hosted its 26th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast and Program on Wednesday, Nov. 5. With hundreds of veterans and their families in attendance, the school gym was filled with gratitude, patriotism, and community spirit.

This year’s honored guest speaker was retired U.S. Air Force Captain William “Bill” Robinson, the longest-held enlisted POW in American history, who shared a powerful message of courage and perseverance from his 2,700+ days in captivity during the Vietnam War.

The program featured performances from the GHS Concert Choir and Wind Ensemble, as well as moving tributes from NJROTC cadets and GHS students. Special recognitions were given to veterans, Purple Heart recipients, GHS graduates currently serving, and those newly enlisted. PGSD is so grateful for your service.

Thank you to all who joined us in honoring our nation’s heroes—and to the many students, staff, and community members who made this unforgettable event possible.

📅 Mark your calendar: The 27th Annual Veterans Day Program will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026.
