Jennifer Jones selected as Beach Elementary's next principal

PASCAGOULA, Miss. — Congratulations to Beach Elementary’s next principal, Jennifer Jones!

After serving nearly 14 years in education, Jones will be hanging her PGSD assistant principal hat up and stepping into this new role next school year in the district. She’s spent her entire career within Jackson County - starting in Moss Point as a 5th grade math teacher for a few years before moving to College Park Elementary 4th grade for nearly a decade. She completed the Principal Core Program of Ole Miss in 2024 and rose to her current role as an elementary assistant principal for Arlington and Jackson elementary schools for the past year.

Jones, a Gulf Coast native, spends her free time at the beach and finding hidden gem restaurants in the area. She lives in Gautier with her husband and three children, and she serves as an active member of Moss Point’s New Covenant Community Ministries and the Carver High School Alumni Association.

“I am immensely humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve as the next principal of Beach Elementary,” Jones shared. “It is an honor to join such a vibrant and dedicated school community. I look forward to working closely with our incredible teachers, students, and families to support every child’s growth and success.”
