GAUTIER, Miss. — A familiar face will be leading Gautier Elementary next school year! 

Michelle Brewer is no stranger to PGSD. She grew up here - attending Singing River Elementary, Gautier Middle and graduated from Pascagoula High School. 

She started her career at PGSD as an assistant teacher and secretary before returning to school to complete her bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern Mississippi. Brewer spent nine years as a kindergarten at PGSD - eight of those years at Martin Bluff Elementary where she eventually was selected as assistant principal in 2021. She is currently wrapping up her first year in a principal role at Beach Elementary. 

When not on campus, Brewer spends time with her husband, Tommy Brewer (another familiar face at Gautier High School), three children and four grandchildren!

“I am honored to have the opportunity to work alongside an amazing staff and students who strive to excel,” Brewer shared. “I am excited  about joining a team where we can empower our students to seek their full potential.”
