Dr. Beth Bellipanni named next PGSD Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education

PASCAGOULA, Miss. — Welcome to PGSD, Dr. Beth Bellipanni!

The PGSD Board of Trustees approved the recommendation for Dr. Bellipanni to become the district’s next Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education on Monday, April 14, 2025. She brings three decades of experience in public education - including in the classroom, school administration and district-level leadership. 

 

Dr. Bellipanni is currently the principal at Pass Christian High School - an A-rated school, ranked #5 in the state. She also served as a principal and assistant principal at two middle schools. Her first decade in education was dedicated to teaching Spanish and later became a foreign language and English curriculum specialist. Dr. Bellipanni was also selected as Administrator of the Year in Gulfport and Pass Christian school districts in the past. 

 

PGSD’s newest leadership addition has a reputation for greatness at the schools she’s served. Dr. Bellipanni has a history of maintaining growth for students, staff and schools. She has experience with diverse populations and is passionate about advancing academic excellence. Dr. Bellipanni has fostered trust in her communities through open-door policies, staying engaged with parents and making sure be visible and available for her students and teachers.

 

PGSD is excited to welcome Dr. Bellipanni to the district! She will join us on July 1, 2025. We look forward to going from great to exceptional with her help. Let’s continue to support the learners of today, who will become our leaders tomorrow!
